Uncover The Truth: Can You Really Be Transparent With Your Partner? (EP. 119)
NEW EPISODE of @niceandneatthepodcast available on all streaming platforms‼️
Communication is the #1 issue in any relationship. One example may be, “Talking and trying to convince someone vs. listening and trying to understand someone”. Which falls into the bucket of transparency and that’s what we will be outlining in this episode. How transparent can you be with your partner?
Couples that listen to understand are often more successful.
Fear is a big part of not being transparent with your partner and also judging your partner when they present transparency - This fear comes from, if we dive into what our loved one is saying, we might not like what we learn or find out about our partner. Encouraging growth is tough because it brings change and that requires everyone in the relationship to evolve and evolution isn’t easy.
It’s best to stay curious and not be judgmental of your partner, it’s very tough to achieve but that is a part of the beauty of relationship… doing the tough things TOGETHER.

I agree with everything Jalon said and I truly respect his dedication to the deepest and highest plains of emotional intimacy and spiritual connection with one's partner. That is a transcendental experience that few are brave enough to shed their egos and dive into. But I believe in that dive is pure healing magic.

This was such a great episode! I really enjoyed listening to everyone's perspective. My intellectual intake from this conversation: Transparency can breed openness depending on a person's motives and intent. Meaning if you enter into a relationship with someone who is open minded and doing the work to create a safe space to be vulnerable then this can create a sense of longevity and sustainability within a relationship. I can innerstand the apprehensiveness between either partner sharing or exchanging information between one another because they don't want to hurt each other emotionally. I feel like even asking your partner if they are willing to share their desires of the past or when/if they arise in the future is a start. I think having this conversation first can create emotional security. I also believe there is a delicacy between your everyday thoughts and actions that are just simply your own and should remain that way. If a situation or thought becomes pervasive then I think that it is worth bringing to your partner's attention. So many factors to consider within yourself as well as within your partner when wanting to unlock levels of transparency. Thank you fellas for this episode. 🙏🏾 Continued blessings to you and your beautiful families!

My question is why aren’t they going to the women who look like them ? Why aren’t they visiting west Africa in droves to find a traditional wife ? They’re going to Latin America, Asia & North Africa ? Yeah it’s about fetishizing and exploiting women in vulnerable situations

Cant agree. I know my husband is handsome and I know he gets hit on but I also know what I have and how to act. Someone slips him her number next time I go into the store I’m not going to make a show, I’ll probably just be extra handsy with my husband and kind to the girl who made a mistake.

Strong advice on practicing how to be affectionate if you have not grown up with or figured out affection. Sit together, hugged up, make a concerted effort to give a kiss entering or leaving the house Practicing vulnerability Stephan’s tolerance of his atheist staff member LOVE CONNECTION SHARES VALUES POSITIVE ENERGY THANK YOU ALL Gentlemen Thank you so so so much My three-year-old grandson is going to benefit from your conversation, and he’s gonna grow up with different tools than his father, who is hopefully going to learn to be vulnerable and understand the dynamics of how to love. I really did not know what to pray for regarding my grandson‘s father but now I have a better idea in addition to also continuously, showing my grandson’s father love So that he can show both of my grandchildren as he grows as a man and learns more about himself, and how to love. I pray that one day he will accept the Lord as his savior, and feel the freedom and love as he connects to the positivity and powerfulness of our Lord and savior.

Passport bros are merely “recommending,” foreign women of the countries they visit. Passport bros telling other bm to take a trip to Colombia because the women are more quality is a recommendation. There is nothing wrong with that. The reality is that bw do not like the idea that bm are choosing other women.

I can't count the number of times I've seen a sista called a bed wench for dating a white man, online. Separately, I think the assumption, on both sides, is that if you make dating outside your race a preference, you do it because your race didn't want you.

What do we eat that is so different from white people? This should be in our schools for the next generation's longevity.

Who cares what anybody has to say about passport bros. Live your own life and mind your business. 3. If it's easier out of country, then GO! Life is hard enough. Take the short cuts, find happiness and do what brings you joy. 4. Black men have had a smear campaign run on them since they got to this country...we don't owe this country a THING! If I said I only date British guys because American guys are trash, would American men be inserting themselves if they started commenting on it, or did I mention them unprovoked and they are defending themselves? At the core it is predatory, you are going somewhere knowing you will have power over the people you are going to find and wanting to lavage it. Passport bros aren’t going to France, UAE, Australia etc. rich countries, they are going to some of the poorest countries in the world to do this. Also Black Men statistically not most desirable White Men are and Asian Women are statistically most desired. Black Men are statistically more desired than Black Women.

The lies blk men tell on blk women so they can have their preferences and be accepted by the dominate society is where the betrayal comes in . Throwing women under the bus to save yourself is the act of a coward. All these distorted lies have a profound effect on the survival of black women and children. Being that society is patriarchal and men hold the power, therefore people are more open to listening to a man speak , while women voices are silenced. Black women endured slavery, oppression along side black men, and add to the fact that providing and caring for the children is mostly done by the women . I always said there is no difference between a racist and a self hating black man, they are both one in the same, lying bullying and belittling other people so they can maintain their dominance is the name of the game.
